Terms & Conditions


Bookings & Subscriptions

  • All bookings must be made via the official Pro Judo booking platforms listed on our website.
  • All subscriptions are monthly recurring payments and continue until cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
  • Subscription payments are not linked to school term dates, attendance levels, holidays, or venue closures (unless otherwise stated).
  • The person making the booking confirms they are authorised to do so and accepts these Terms on behalf of the account holder.

Cancellation of Subscription

  • It is the account holder’s responsibility to cancel a subscription.
  • Cancellation must be submitted either:By email to support@projudo.co.uk
  • Via the membership cancellation form on our website: Membership Cancellation
  • A minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required to end a subscription.
  • Until valid notice is received and the notice period has expired, subscription payments remain payable.
  • Failure to attend classes does not constitute cancellation.

Missed Sessions

  • Any booked sessions that are not attended remain chargeable.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued for non-attendance.

Payment Terms

  • All bookings must be paid at the time of booking unless an approved instalment option is selected.
  • If payment is not received between the 1st and 7th of the month, a £10 late fee may be applied unless prior arrangements have been agreed.
  • Pro Judo reserves the right to suspend or terminate attendance where accounts fall into arrears.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • If a chargeback or payment dispute is raised with a bank or card provider without valid cancellation in accordance with these Terms:The original subscription fee remains payabl
  • Pro Judo reserves the right to recover any bank fees, administrative costs, or other reasonable charges incurred as a direct result of the dispute.
  • Providing false or misleading reasons for a payment dispute may be treated as a breach of contract.

Recovery of Unpaid Fees

  • Where fees remain unpaid, Pro Judo may refer the outstanding balance to an external debt recovery agency.
  • Any reasonable recovery, administrative, or legal costs incurred will be added to the outstanding balance.
  • Pro Judo reserves the right to pursue recovery through the County Court (Small Claims Track).

Suspensions & Refusal of Attendance

Pro Judo reserves the right to refuse attendance where:

  • Accounts are in arrears
  • There is abuse of staff
  • Behaviour compromises the safety or atmosphere of the club

Termination for arrears does not remove liability for unpaid fees.

Forced Closures

  • Subscription fees remain payable during temporary closures where alternative provision (including online sessions or rescheduled classes) is offered.
  • Where closure is prolonged and no alternative provision is available, Pro Judo reserves the right to review arrangements at its discretion.

Schedule Changes

  • Pro Judo may amend schedules, venues, or services where reasonably necessary.
  • Where a material and permanent change significantly affects the service provided, customers may contact us to discuss suitable alternatives.

Special Offers and Discount Codes

  • Discount vouchers or offers can only be used for the purpose stated.
  • Only one offer or discount code can be used per booking.
  • Each voucher code can only be used once per customer.
  • Each voucher code can only be used on one booking and will not be valid for separate bookings made before the voucher deadline ends.
  • Offers and discounts may be withdrawn at any time.

Collecting Children

  • Children attending Pro Judo can only be collected by an adult over the age of 16 who has been authorised to do so.

Medical

  • You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should these change.
  • Children must not attend class if ill.

Exclusion

  • Pro Judo reserves the right to exclude or refuse any person without notice if their presence compromises the safety or good atmosphere of the club.

Photography

  • Pro Judo may take photographs and videos at our venues for marketing and promotional purposes, including social media.
  • If you do not wish your child to be included, please notify support@projudo.co.uk.

Complaints

  • If you or your child are not entirely satisfied with the services provided, please email support@projudo.co.uk.
  • If you wish to escalate a complaint further, email trustees@projudo.co.uk.

Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded under law.
  • Pro Judo does not accept responsibility for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged at the club.

Lost Property

  • Please contact the class coach first regarding lost items. Contact details are available at Pro Judo Team.
  • If the coach cannot be reached, please email support@projudo.co.uk or contact the venue directly.
  • Club lost property will be distributed to local charities after 3 months.

Abuse of Staff

  • Threats, physical violence, verbal abuse, intimidation, or harassment towards staff may result in termination of all contact.
  • Physical violence or threats will always be reported to the police.

Data Protection

  • Pro Judo collects personal details to process bookings.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary permissions to share personal data.

Governing Law & Entire Agreement

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Pro Judo and the account holder and supersede any prior representations or agreements.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
